A round shows ten of these 13, in a new order, each with four names from this pack.

The 13 flags
- BeninA green vertical band at the hoist, then yellow over red.
- Burkina FasoRed over green with a yellow star in the centre.
- Cabo VerdeA blue field with thin white, red and white stripes below the middle and a ring of ten yellow stars towards the hoist.
- Côte d’IvoireThree equal vertical bands: orange at the hoist, white, then green.
- GambiaRed, blue and green horizontal bands, with thin white stripes either side of the blue.

Telling the look-alikes apart
- Côte d’Ivoire and NigerCôte d’Ivoire: upright bands. Niger: flat bands with an orange disc.
- Mali and GuineaMali: green at the hoist. Guinea: red at the hoist.
- Mali and SenegalMali: plain. Senegal: a green star on the yellow.
- Benin and Guinea-BissauBenin: a plain green band, yellow over red. Guinea-Bissau: a red band with a black star, yellow over green.
- Guinea-Bissau and Cabo VerdeGuinea-Bissau: red, yellow and green with one black star. Cabo Verde: blue with a ring of ten yellow stars.
- Togo and LiberiaTogo: green and yellow stripes, a red canton. Liberia: red and white stripes, a blue canton.
